Current sale status

Flipkart has announced Big Billion Days 2026, its 13th edition, with early access from October 8, 2026 and general access from October 9, 2026. The status card above works out where things stand from those dates. Flipkart says the sale's duration is subject to its official schedule and has not published an end date on the pages we reviewed, so we show none.

Specific deals are short-lived by design. Flipkart itself says some offers last only an hour or two and refresh through the day.

Early access: who and when

Flipkart's announcement says early access begins October 8 for Flipkart Plus, BLACK and Flipkart credit-card members. Flipkart's event page words the groups slightly differently (Plus members, VIP members and select co-branded credit-card holders) and gives the start as midnight on October 8. Both describe eligible members only, and both say terms apply, so check your own account on the official page rather than assuming you qualify.

If you are not an eligible member, nothing is lost by waiting for general access: the early-access window is a head start, not a separate set of prices Flipkart has said will be better.

General access

General access opens on October 9, 2026 for all customers. Flipkart publishes the date but, on the pages we reviewed, not a clock time, so we show the date only.

Payment offers, SuperCoins, EMI and deal formats

This is what Flipkart's own pages describe. Each item is labelled by type, because an instant bank discount, SuperCoins and an EMI plan are different benefits and do not simply add together. Eligibility, caps and exclusions are in Flipkart's terms.

    Flipkart describes Price Crash (selected items return to Day 0 prices for 1 hour), Double Discount (2 hours), Tick Tock hourly deals, Super Flash, Rush Hour and budget price-point deals.

Countdown deals and Price Crash, in plain words

Flipkart describes several time-limited formats. The two shoppers ask about most:

  • Price Crash: Flipkart says selected items return to their Day 0 prices for one hour. That makes it a short window on specific products, not a sale-wide price.
  • Double Discount and hourly deals: Flipkart lists a two-hour Double Discount format and hourly Tick Tock deals.

Two practical points. A "Day 0" price is the price at the start of the event, not necessarily the lowest the product has ever been. And because these windows are short, a price you read in a screenshot may be gone when you open the page.

How to evaluate a Big Billion Days deal

  1. Find the exact model, colour and storage or size. Similar names can be different products.
  2. Ignore the crossed-out price. Work out what you would pay against what it recently cost.
  3. Check the seller and the delivery estimate.
  4. Apply only the bank offer your card actually qualifies for.
  5. Treat SuperCoins as a later reward, not as money off today.
  6. For EMI, check whether the plan is truly interest-free on your order and what the total repayment is.
  7. If you are trading in a device, confirm how the exchange value is decided.
  8. Check the final payable amount on the payment screen.

How price tracking helps

Flipkart says deals refresh through the day. A price you see at noon may differ from the one at 8 p.m. Tracking a product means a Telegram message tells you when the price falls, instead of you refreshing the page. Because Flipkart's one-hour windows can be shorter than the gap between any monitoring service's checks, do not rely on tracking to catch a Price Crash.
