How to track Amazon and Flipkart prices during 2026 sales

Sale prices move. Here is why one look is not enough and how to let Telegram alerts do the watching.

Published October 9, 2026. Last updated October 9, 2026. Sale details last checked October 9, 2026.

Why sale prices change

Prices during a sale are not one number that holds for days. Marketplaces describe daily deals, hourly deals and limited-time formats, and sellers adjust their own prices. Flipkart's event page, for instance, describes deals that change every hour and Price Crash windows of an hour. Amazon names deal formats such as 8 PM Deals. Stock and eligibility also change through the day.

That is why checking once is not enough. A single look tells you the price at that moment, not whether it is a good moment to buy. For why prices move in general, see why product prices change.

What each kind of alert is for

  • Target-price alerts tell you when a product reaches or falls below a price you chose. They are the best match for "I will buy it at this number". See Target Price Alerts.
  • Price-drop alerts tell you when a tracked product's price falls. They suit "tell me if it gets cheaper". See Price-Drop Alerts.
  • Price history shows the prices the bot has recorded since you started tracking. It helps you see whether a sale price is lower than the weeks before. It is not the store's full history.
  • Stock alerts tell you when an unavailable product is available again, for supported Amazon marketplaces and Flipkart. They matter for limited-stock deals, and a return is never guaranteed.
  • Coupon alerts are available for supported Amazon marketplaces only, where the bot detects a coupon.

The DealTrackerProBot workflow

  1. Find a supported product. Open the product page on Amazon.in or Flipkart (other supported Amazon marketplaces also work). Use a full product link, not a search or category page.
  2. Send the link in Telegram. Open DealTrackerProBot, press Start and paste the link.
  3. Configure tracking. By default you hear about price drops. To use a target price, send /list to see your product numbers, then /target followed by the number and your price (for example /target 2 1999).
  4. Let the bot monitor it. It checks the product in the background. No exact check interval is published.
  5. Receive alerts. Alerts arrive as Telegram messages. Open the store, confirm the seller and the final price at checkout, then decide.

Everything is in the chat: /list shows what you track, /price_history followed by a product number shows recorded prices, and /remove stops tracking. The full list is on the Telegram commands page, and how it works explains the steps in more detail.

When to track: before, during and after

  • Before the sale: add the products on your shortlist so the bot records a baseline price and builds history.
  • During early and general access: watch for your target. Open the store when the alert arrives and verify.
  • After a deal ends: a price that returns tells you what the deal was worth.

What tracking cannot do

  • It cannot guarantee the lowest price or that a deal will still be available when you open the link.
  • It checks periodically, so a very short-lived price, such as a one-hour window, may never be seen.
  • It has no special access to Amazon or Flipkart or to their sales. It uses the marketplaces' public product pages.
  • Offers that depend on your account or card, such as a bank discount, may not appear in the tracked price. Check the final price at checkout.
  • The same product on two stores is two tracked products. Free users can track up to 10 active products at once; Premium removes that limit (details on the Premium page), so choose your shortlist carefully.

Next, read how to compare the same product on both marketplaces, or turn alerts into numbers with the Price Drop Calculator.

Yes. Checks are periodic, and no exact interval is published, so a price that appears and disappears between two checks may not be seen.
